SPACE are a charitable organisation providing affordable studio space for artists and creatives. They approached us to rebrand the new studio space for creative businesses called 37 Queen Street in Colchester. They wanted to appeal to their core market of mixed creatives while retaining a professional image.
We developed a clean, bold, and contemporary brand identity with a simple application style that would be very cost-effective for them to apply and produce communication materials. One example of this was creating the brand ‘stripe’ that enables flyers to double up to create posters at any scale by flipping over alternate flyers to form the repeating brand mark.
We later worked on signage and printed materials, and are currently looking at digital application.
