Brief:
Create an illustration based campaign for a promotion comprising of animation and print.

Who are The Wine Society?

 

The Wine Society are the oldest wine-selling co-operative who pride themselves on putting their members before profit. They approached us asking for help in how to tell their story to their members, and explain why they are proud to be a cooperative.

The solution

 

We explored various ways in conveying their story to their members and decided that using animation would be the perfect way to do this. They had seen the ‘proud to be a coop’ poster we had created for Co-operatives UK and liked the illustration style and would like to replicate this in this project. We worked closely alongside the same illustrator to create a series of storyboards that once approved, were brought to life. The end result was a fun and informal take on the journey of grape to glass.

The animation was created in various formats and used across the Wine Society’s social media channels. Members and audiences were thrilled with the result and The Wine Society’s member count grew rapidly after the release of the animation.

Alongside the animation, a poster and report cover were also created.
